Building construction is one of the TVET (technical) courses offered at KIMUVOTI assessed by UVTAB. We train it in different levels (that is to say Modular for those who never got a chance to complete P7 (Two years) and it is even available  as short courses of six months, Junior certificate which takes three years for one to be equivalent to S4 from there a junior graduate can join a national certificate or join world of work, and National certificate (two years) for those who completed S4 from here its graduate can join National technician diplomas in building construction technology, in Roads and bridge technology, Surveying, Architecture, in Water and irrigation technology each for two years (CIVIL ENGINEERING), technician diploma graduate can further upgrade in  technician higher diploma (2years), bachelor of civil engineering (2 or 3years) masters and PHD in civil. It is possible to channel from P7 and finally obtain a PHD in engineering without passing through secondary education.
